Considering a Hysterectomy at 51: Need Advice

Im 51 should I get a full hysterectomy? I've had nothing but problems . I'm bleeding so bad with large clots my lining is a 21 should be an 11. I'm exhausted all the time and my emotions (omg) for no reason.cysts and fibroids also

I do think that a hysterectomy would be highly beneficial for you. You have to do what is best for your physical and mental health and it may solve all or most of these issues and give you your normal life back.

This is something you need to bring to your obgyn attention. I have had the same issues and thank God I don’t anymore after having my last child and getting my tubes tied. Now no more long period or bleeding so much no more crystals in my overies. I get my period 2 days maybe 3 and it’s only spotting. Then I’m done. Maybe ask your obgyn what the best option is for you.

I got my tubes tied after my second baby 25 years ago but it never helped me with my periods. I've always had heavy painful ones
