Tingling sensation during workout

I recently started working out and notice I get the tingling feeling like if an outbreak is about to happen. Only when I workout :/ it’s also not extreme work outs. Does this happen to anyone else? If so, what do you take or do when this happens.

Just diagnosed with HSV-1, need advice!

Hello! I was just diagnosed with hsv-1 and my brain is a mess. So what happened: last week I got super sick and tested positive for strep but it wasn’t getting better. I could barely swallow water and had a 101 fever. Then a cold sore appeared on my bottom lip on Monday. I got it swabbed and came back hsv1 positive. I am currently on valtrex and have been using abreva + cold sore patch. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to heal the sore faster? Also what are the stages? Is it supposed to pop before it crusts over? I havent been touching it like at all and have been super careful around my housemates. I just have to see my whole family for the holidays and I am so scared to be judged. Any suggestions, advice, comments would be really appreciated ❤️

Valacyclovir for Herpes: What to Expect?

How much of a difference does Valacyclovir make for herpes simplex symptoms and outbreaks? I haven't been taking it long enough to know but would like to know what to expect. I've only ever had 2 outbreaks before taking the medicine, both were about a week of flu like symptoms and 2 weeks of sores and painful urination.

Testing Positive for HSV2: Worried About My Kid

I tested positive for hsv2 last week. I've never had an outbreak or symptoms of any kind. my partner also tested positive last week and he also has never had an outbreak or symptoms of any kind. I've been given a lot of conflicting info and I'm worried about accidental exposure to my kid. obviously it can spread with or without an active sore right? how else would we both have it when we didn't have it 2 years ago? does anyone know the stats or risk levels really? it feels like no one actually knows anything about hsv2 with certainty.

Need advice on treating a persistent cold sore

Okay y'all, so I got a cold sore about a month ago and tried to nuke it with everything I had in my arsenal. (Abreva, Valtrex & the Blistex "alchohol" tube things) The blister went away after the usual week or two but now I have a red rash or spot where it was and it sometimes still itches. Now idk if it's still there and I should continue to treat it or if it's just dry skin because I have really dry skin. I'm scared to touch it and I just don't want to worry about it anymore. Does anyone have any advice on what I might be able to do? I also use Abreva a few times a week and take a dose of Valtrex periodically but it's still there.

Does anyone else ever feel like they have paper cuts on their genitals randomly but that's about it?

Are my symptoms related to my condition? I take medication for herpes and feel it's under control but I will still randomly get what feels like little paper cuts on my labia and anus. An OB once told me it's normal but I would love to hear that a solution exists. It would make sex a lot more fun that's for sure.

so, i have HSV-1 (oral herpes) on my genitals. i know it’s weird but my boyfriend gets cold sores and gave it to me through oral sex. when i take a blood test it only shows up as oral herpes, so i was just curious is this something i should inform future sexual partners? i haven’t had an outbreak since the initial contraction of the virus.
