Anyone on Zoloft? I got my medication increased from 25ml after two weeks to 50 on the 22nd and switched it from taking it at night to taking it in the mornings and it feels like it’s not in my system..my anxiety and attacks are coming back and I’m having trouble controlling them. I was able to control my attacks a little better on 25 but it wasn’t enough to where my nurse practitioner wanted me to feel. But now I’m back to feeling like im not on any medication… not understanding this freaks me out and makes my anxiety worse so if someone can make some sense out of this it would realllly help

@doodle0118 I did leave him a voicemail and and email, he hasn’t answered me but hopefully all I need to do is wait it out.

I took zoloft for a while and my body built up a tolerance to it. I would suggest asking your doctor if you should wait to see if your anxiety gets better or if you should change to a different medicine

i was on zoloft for awhile, higher doses also made my anxiety worse. if you’re not on any other medications for your mental health, i’d suggest asking your nurse practitioner if there’s a good medication that works along side it. i’m currently on 3 different medications, went through countless med changes, and it finally feels like i found a cocktail that helps me. it’s all trial and error :)

@Keisha I’m very scared of taking medication. Before Zoloft I trusted my primary doctor to give me medication that would help my panic attacks. The first one she gave me didn’t work, and when I actually read the bottle I realized it was a blood thinner medication and it just made me panic even more. Then she gave me busporone, which after 3 days of taking I was having heart palpitations and it was terrifying, she then just sent me my old medication fluoxetine so I was given 3 medications over the span of one week. When I got on fluoxetine I just went numb. I literally felt dumb and tried and out of it. Now I’m on Zoloft and it was sooo hard to trust this new person so I really hope Zoloft is the right medication and I don’t have to try somthing new

hey! so personally when i up the dosage of my zoloft my anxiety gets a lot worse before it gets better. adjusting to a new dose is a lot for your system. i would recommend sticking it through for a few weeks before making a decision.
