Struggling with Zoloft for Anxiety

Been on Zoloft since August. My psychiatrist got me up to 200 mg thinking it would help. It has not. I’m so afraid to change medications again. But this is not helping my anxiety at all.

      I am in the same situation. I feel like my zoloft isn't working. I'm on 150 currently. I used Lexapro for years and it worked so well until it just stopped working. Now I take vistaril and/or ativan if needed. I just want something to work like Lexapro and keep working. My anxiety is out of control.

      I am on Zoloft 200 mg….just recently increased from 150mg. How long have you been on 200mg ?

          @Meliss yeah it should be helping by now. I was on leaxapro for over 10 years and it was great until it just stopped working. I was terrified to switch to another med…what if I had terrible side effects etc. My anxiety was so bad that I finally decided that any side effect was better then dealing with my level of anxiety daily. Switching meds was the best thing I ever did. Have you tried anything else ?
