Advice on Zoloft and Buspirone for Anxiety

Hi! I’ve been on Zoloft for 6?ish months now. I was just recently upped from 50 to 75 (I have med anxiety so we move slow) I feel like my anxiety is worse that before I ask it to be upped. It’s been a week since I’ve started 75 and I’m exhausted and having a few anxiety symptoms. I just started seeing a primary dr and she recommended putting me in buspirone as well but this was the first time I had seen her. Any advice? Sorry for the long post!

When I got to a higher dosage of Zoloft I found it started helping with my depression symptoms which allowed anxiety symptoms to be more active. It's def a process and a secondary medicine can really help. I haven't been on buspirone. But it's good you're taking it slow. Don't give it up it definitely takes time to find the right combo.

I take Busipirone for anxiety and it helps. A lot. Started with 1 at night. Now at 1 at night and 1 in morning. Next I add a midday one and that'll be it. I also take Effexor XR and Prazosin. But those aren't for anxiety really.

my best friend takes buspirone and honestly I don’t think it helps her as much as it could but it does help her. My sister takes Effexor for anxiety but I’m limited on what I can take because I’m nursing my daughter!
