Zoloft Side Effects and Anxiety

So last night I took my Zoloft 50mg which was like the first time in a while because I suck at taking my meds (I know that’s bad 😅) but I felt like a total zombie in my classes this morning I’m not sure if I want to start back taking it I’m thinking about getting on a different antidepressant because that’s the reason I stop taking it in the first place. I know that I should have said something to my doctor before but I get really bad anxiety when I’m at the doctors.

write it down and give it to the doc at the appt instead of having to say it ! that helps me at least :’) or email / chat if it’s online ??

Could you take someone with you to the doctor might help with the anxiety and they could remember things you need to discuss with him

honestly I tried to have my mom come with me but because of COVID they make me go by myself while she waits in The waiting room so unfortunately I can’t

Suggestions.... Med taking reminder app... I think the one I use is called medisafe. Write down every concern you have and take the paper/ phone with you. Check things off that you covered and make notes about your docs response. Think of it more as a meeting than letting the doctor just call all the shots.

yes this! 100%. I finally did this a little over a week ago. I actually switched psychiatrists because my concerns weren’t getting addressed. I found out that I was severely over medicating myself.
