Verapamil for Migraines: Does it Work?

has anyone tried verapamil for migraines? does it actually work? my new neurologist was shocked I hadn't tried anything medication-wise beyond topamax and imipramine. poor guy is so used to doing his job and actually caring for patients that he must've forgotten most doctors do not do that, especially not for female/AFAB patients šŸ˜­

      @DragonLady47 would scented candles maybe help? One thing I found helpful was when there was a scent outside triggering a flare I would light a candle that I already know is a safe scent and put it next to the most offending window

      I have tried almost everything on the market for my migraines prescribed and not prescribed and nothing has worked and it is even worse now since the weather is getting nicer because everyone is cutting grass and for me as soon as I smell it instant migraine.

      I've been on verapramil for over 2 years. It's been a life saver. It's not a cure all but I've give from over 15 migraines that bed bound me and last multiple days a month to maybe 2 or 3 migraines. Even few months I'll get slammed with a bad one. But this med changed my life
