Meditation and prayer are regular parts of my day. Deep breathing exercises (which also stretch the muscles in my rib cage and improve dystonia there). A daily rest period, even if I can only get 15 minutes. I aim for an hour. This is time for me to nap, read, lie quietly with my cats and snuggle, look out the window and zone out, etc. A gratitude journal has been extremely helpful. It probably sounds trite, but there are days it really helps to intentionally look for at least 1-3 good things in my world - and to always be able to find them, no matter how bad the day was.
