      Defenitly find a routine to fit into and make it a routine you love!!! Graditide journalling us the best. Painting singing. And hoenstly if it's that bad force yourself to sit there and say amazing things about yourself in your head or better out loud. Go to your happy place. Call a friend. Smell your favorite smells. Replay old memories you loved. Wokr on a gift for someone else.

      Breathing! I learned this formula at McLean Hospital: breathe in for X amount, hold your breath for X amount, then exhale your breath at a rate of 2X. So, for example, if you count to four while you breathe in, then hold your breath for four, and take a count of *eight* to release it. To exhale. The extra length of the exhale is critical to this techniqueā€™s beneficial and calming effect on the central nervous system. If you do this for a minute, you will physiologically calm down. I swear by it.

      meditation and diaphragmatic breathing are the best for me. iā€™ve also tried tapping with it (donā€™t remember what itā€™s called) & that helps with my anxiety attacks too :)
