Draw Paint Listen to music Hangout with ur family Take a break Do a facemask Paint nails (personally I like doing it because I can spend multiple hours doing designs to make it my own.) Scream along to rock/heavy metal music (if you need suggestions dm me) Sleep Eat some food and drink lots of water
Both of the ones above are absolutely correct. You can also do low impact excercise if you need there are some nice ones on youtube. Anything that helps you distract or cope is worth your time.
cbd is nice for getting my mind to quiet down when i need to sleep. getting good, restful sleep is actually great for increasing your mental fortitude and helps you be more resistant to stressors. when you're tired, it's easier to get overwhelmed and buried by stress. also, having people to talk to about your stressors is very helpful. and high energy exercise if your body is up for it, like swimming laps, running, zumba, biking, etc.
I find hobbies as a coping mechanism! I draw, play video games, listen to music, anything to keep my brain occupied:)
