I'm really struggling right now. On 6/11 I went to the ER after 3 days of no food, virtually no liquid, exhaustion, and stomach pain. By 6/13 I was told I have gastroparesis and kicked out. I have been in pain, usually multiple pains, every day since. The medication they prescribed gave me a reaction that caused my calves to swell and become very painful. I've had at least 3 episodes of vomiting, the most recent lasting over a full day, with another day (so far) of being unable to eat. I'm diabetic and we've discovered that, for some reason, I get infections at injection sites when stressed (though my insulin also shows signs of being contaminated, which baffles my husband and I). These infections are very painful. And tonight, when I gave my long-acting insulin, the needle wasn't quite in. I didn't realize at first, and it caused the insulin to bulge just under the skin. Painfully. I'm feel like my entire life will be neverending pain now.
