I just kind of developed it myself, no real trigger

I developed it randomly. I thought it was that I was doing too much exercise and I had an electrolyte imbalance but I was wrong.

I developed mine from EDS but I went from moderate to severe really quickly because I was under a lot of stress. I’ve learned that significant stress is a huge trigger for me

I developed mine from EDS but it got way worse after an abdominal surgery where I nearly lost my life, they likely clipped my vagus nerve and ever since then things continue to deteriorate 💗

Im realizing ive had mine for the majority of my life and im not quite sure what is causing it but I’ve definitely know what causes it to flare. When i was 15 i went to a bootcamp where there was a lot of intense exercise and stress. I couldnt stop throwing up unprocessed foods and ended up getting Rhabdomyolysis from my body breaking down my muscles. This year i had another flare from trying to do colonoscopy prep. If you have gastroparesis PLEASE be careful with colonoscopy prep! I didnt eat enough before doing it and the overfilling of the liquid in my stomach caused a flare that lasted 3 weeks, put me in the hospital, and caused me to loose 13 lbs.
