I have been having really bad gastroparesis pain for 12 days now and counting and I'm afraid my Primary doctor on Friday is going to put me in the hospital and give me Dilaudid through the IV. I'm scared

Anytime I have been to the ER for my gastroparesis they just give IV zofran and fluids, then send me home. (Though that's what I need sometimes, just to break the cycle) I usually have more luck reaching out to my GI specialist though and adjusting my meds. Narcotic pain meds might make your GP worse as they slow your stomach down even more. If I ever have to take them I take magnesium as well to help my stomach continue to move. I hope you are feeling better 🥰

I know how scary that can be, just try to stay calm and remember that they can make you feel better 💕
