Has anyone found a cause to these symptoms? I can’t focus enough on a day to day basis or have enough energy to make progress on my goals. I have resorted to taking more of my stimulant for ADHD and caffeine to have the energy just to get things done which is not sustainable. My muscles are always sore and I’m always exhausted. These were issues I was dealing with before covid but I was a pretty heavy drinker before and attributed fatigue to that. I didn’t realize I was in pain all the time until I quit drinking, I have been sober for 6 months. The symptoms went from manageable to unmanageable after I got covid. Some days are ok but some days I can’t do anything at all bc I’m so tired and confused. I do a pretty physically demanding job on the weekends and it now takes me 2-3 days to recover physically. People say I’m in pain bc it’s part of getting older. I’m 35 and relatively fit, and wont accept this as a answer. All I know is I can’t keep living like this. Please help.

Don't eat/drink acidic contents an hour before/after meds (I take famotidine 15 min before to play it safe), try an anti-inflammatory gel for pain, make sure you consume enough electrolytes during the day – if that doesn't work, get your vitals checked. If you have a bp/hr cuff at home, lay down for 5 minutes and get a base measurement. After that, stand up and take note of any measurement differences after 30 seconds. If your bp goes drastically high or low, get your circulation checked. If your heart rate goes higher than 30bpm, get screened for POTS. Hope this helps

Are you taking your medication with the caffeine? Always be sure to limit acidic food/liquid intake and hour before and after taking stimulants. Caffeine will disrupt the kinase c transport of the stimulant making it ineffective

It sounds like an autoimmune disease, ask your doctor to put more thought into looking at the blood tests. There's healthy and there's ideal. All my blood tests are healthy but looking at what wasn't ideal helped me get diagnosed

my pain varies. It can be sharp or dull depending on the day. It's typically just a constant aching pain for me. Yours does sound a bit different where you said they lock up and you don't have mobility however.

The same thing happened to me after I had covid last January. I've been going to the doctor since May/June 2022, and like you, all my tests come back normal. I'm thinking I'll end up with a diagnosis of ME/CFS eventually (hopefully this year).

I used to have a friend that had a lot of these same symptoms along with trouble swallowing food. People told her it was anxiety for a while, but she eventually found out she had myasthenia gravis (MG). I think it's an autoimmune disease. You could mention it to a rheumatologist maybe. I think that's who diagnoses it, but I'm not sure.

I have been thinking about this one as a possible diagnosis but as you said it’s a diagnosis after they have tried everything else. I have had people explain their fibromyalgia pain as “burning” as if they are on fire. My pain is more dull and my muscles just always feel heavy and sore. Sometimes they just lock up and I don’t have mobility. What’s it like for you?

I've had very similar symptoms for years and they finally diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. Which a lot of people said is something they tell you when they can't figure anything out. Which I agree with some days, and other days it's nice cause they have some medications that can potentially help with that. Obviously I can't diagnose you or anything, but I can definitely understand your pain. I'm 27 and am still trying to find the right medication or supplement. The pain, brain fog, and fatigue is so overwhelming though! Just know you're not alone. Even though that doesn't help you, I'm sorry.

I’ll give it a look and thanks for your advice. I take a lot of anti-inflammatory supplements as I thought this was the issue as well. Did a liver detox and consistently take milk thistle. Blood results show I have healthy liver enzyme levels which was a pleasant surprise bc i did drink 8-10 drinks a day on average for about fifteen years. I did a five day fast to cleanse my body and removed all processed sugar and bread from my diet for months. I have recently started back here and there with bread and sugar but still way less than I consumed before.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that you're in so much pain. That is hard to cope with for anyone. I struggle with severe flank pain due to endometriosis, and it can be crippling some days. My first thought after reading your post is that it sounds like you have a lot of inflammation going on. There is a Dr named Dr. Brooke Goldner that has an anti-inflammatory nutritional protocol. I have had great success reducing my pain and POTS symptoms while following her protocol. I learned everything I could from her website Goodbyelupus.com and her YouTube channel. I agree. This is absolutely not age related. You're only 35!! I was born in 88', so I can relate to the frustration when people/medical professionals try to tell you that you're just getting older. Reading that you were a heavy drinker tells me that you may have some inflammation in your liver! This nutritional protocol will absolutely remedy that! I know that lifestyle changes and restrictive diets may be hard for some, but if you are interested and willing, please check Dr. Brooke Goldners protocol out. I hope this helps and I hope you get some much needed relief! 🙏❤️

Have you told that to your doctor? You can't live like that. You need help.

@CrazyMeerkat Yes I have. Blood tests are normal. Everyone says that there is nothing wrong with me. Went to a Neurologist bc I thought it was my nervous system. Said I was healthy. Going to a rheumatologist next. It takes a few months to be seen by a specialist so I have to wait til June before I can be seen.
