Does sleeping help you not to hear you're voices?

I've heard them in my dreams many times but not always. I tend to have wild and wacky dreams regardless and often don't enjoy having dreams. I don't like sleeping too much but if I don't get enough I don't handle things well.

For me it doesn't, they just follow unto my dreams unfortunately.

Yes especially when taking medicine that makes you sleepy

Yes, sleep is an escape from the voices.

When I can sleep it does help. What doesn't help is waking up in the middle of the night and listening to the voices.
