I listen to sleep stories on CALM when I need my brain to stop.

Music helps but when my brain won't stop and nothing works I started using binaural beat Playlist on Spotify. Seems to clear my head and then I'm out. I love bass so I have the bass on full so I get the noise and the vibration

      Music I like, low volume.

With someone with ADHD. I use white noise. Like rain, wind, or the sound of the waves. I have it at a nice volume for me to relax and breath with the waves. Very helpful for trying to go to sleep.

"Yes, some non-medicated ways to get sleep include having a nightly routine, turning on quiet white noise or meditation music, keeping your eyes closed even if you're just daydreaming, and thinking hopefully and peacefully. Other methods include doing stream of consciousness journaling, practicing 4-7-8 breaths with the tip of the tongue against the upper gum line, listening to soft noise or specific playlists like 'Floating Through Space' on Spotify, stretching before laying down, praying and counting backwards from 100, physically exhausting oneself through activities like walking or working out, and developing good sleep hygiene such as turning electronics off 2 hours before desired sleep time, aiming for getting in bed the same time each night, and getting up the same time each day."
