I get violently sick every first day of my period. So sick, I've gone to the hospital twice this year on the first day of my period. All of a sudden, good I've had no issues with before, I vomit up. I spend the two to 3 days recovering from what this does to me. I feel like my uterus is trying to kill me every month. I have so much trouble keeping weight my entire life and every food makes me throw up during this time. every month. I get the shakes and no drugs, water, baths, two heating pads, every lotion known to man prescription or otherwise can help me. My period is so painful I blackout a couple times, faint other times. It's hard to keep a job and I feel like a burden. It's not just Endo, idk what's wrong with me but doctors never seem to listen. I drink teas, I take the meds, I suffer, I lose yet another job, the cycle repeats. I just want to be pain free. Does anyone have any tips for safe foods for POTS/ MCAS folks who also have endo to eat during flair ups? I have no idea what's safe, everything makes me feel sick rn. How do you guys do this??? I'm 26 and I feel hopeless about my health.

❤️ Sending you lots of supportive vibes! Have you been focusing on anti-ingflamatory diet and fasting, to get those stem cells healing and recovering? Worth looking into intermittent fasting options. Especially if you throw in a few times a week 18-19 hour fasting windows. Lots of beef bone broth kraut to help bring inflammation down and probs best to do a blood tests to see what foods atm your body is reacting to the worst ( there might be some.surprising results so best to have that checked)

First of all, sending u 💓 b/c endo is hard af and doctors/the general public are abysmally undereducated about it! I am only just starting to look into POTS but my general upset-stomach food advice is getting the kind of rice cooker you can set on “keep warm”, which makes it easy to make a large batch and then leave it on the counter to eat a little bit at a time when you can handle it. Tiger brand is really good and some have an insert you can use to steam veggies if you are into that on less nauseous but still low spoon days. I like using short-grain sushi rice in particular, texture wise - less mushy. I similarly had blackouts/throwing up/diarrhea with my period for the longest time and the only thing that improved it was finally getting an endo specialist at age 25 to look through my symptom diary and get me in for laparoscopic excision surgery. after yrs of people telling me i was exaggerating it turned out a lot of my organs were physically bound together with endo growths… they removed the growths and I have not thrown up from cramps since, still have some pain and various other issues but nowhere near the hell I was in. I am rooting for u!!!

Some people with similar symptoms have found that baby food puree and Pedialyte can stay down during flare ups. Others have managed their symptoms with hormonal treatments like depo-provera or continuous norethindrone. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
