Hello! There wasn’t an option for scapula pain and thoracic pain is no stranger either, so I decided to choose that as mu option. Since I’m seeing my FMD early next week, again, for left scapula pain, and new chest and upper back tightness, I was hoping to get some insights from you guys. I’m struggling to remember all my symptoms and when I write them down I still get side tracked by the doctor. This pain started last October and I have gone to orthopedic pain specialists and after unsuccessful PT, received epidural injections. Injections helped overall my thoracic area but not much in that specific scapula pain. On my own I tried everything from massage therapy to chiropractor, muscle relaxants, heat and ice, etc. Even oral steroids didn’t help this area. They did an MRI of thoracic and cervical spine which neither explained the pain. I got a diagnosis of radiculopathy. FMD ordered chest x-ray and isn’t a fan of a CT claiming x-ray didn’t show anything. I just don’t know how to talk to this woman. I want to tell her as it is but don’t want to ruin the relationship. I did some research and my symptoms are consistent with pancoast tumor but I’m afraid to say that to her as she gives me an attitude when I do my own research and request specific testing. I would appreciate any input regarding my symptoms, and if you got a proper diagnosis how you got there. How do I tell her about my concern about the pancoast area? Thank you

@Andrer thank you for your input. I’m a fan of herbalogy but not on my own by listening that this is good for this and that is good for that. Reason is not all bodies are the same, everyone has additional illnesses that certain herbs contradict (especially thyroid) or cause bad side effects and so on. My mom got healed from coronary artery disease by an herbalist in the 90’s in Europe. But, it took years for proper diagnoses and he had to carefully create a plan for her based on her illnesses. I will check him out just out of curiosity, but my problem is proper diagnosis. I have so many problems that I am at the point of feeling like I’m being medically ghosted. They’re tired of seeing me and stopped listening to my symptoms acting like they know better what I’m experiencing. I’m so ready to stop going and whatever happens happens. I just got over thyroid cancer which was overlooked despite my concerns and swelling. Sorry for the long reply but I just don’t know how to deal with chronic pain and other exhausting symptoms on top of doctors who are tired of me.
