If anyone is struggling with their PTSD, I am always here to talk. My PTSD journey started when I was 5 years old. It's hard to find people who understand the detrimental effects of childhood abuse (they point out that I'm not in the military). I see you, it's not in your head, and you are validated in my eyes. Please feel free to share your stories or struggles!💕

      Age 5 for PTSD here too. My psychotic mother tried to kill herself while I watched. Then she tied me up and threw me in the attic. I am forever haunted.

      My childhood SA, torture, confinement, child pornography & trafficking started at 7 ended at 15. Everyone tells me to leave the past in the past, get over it, like that’s possible. Dealing with it more now than any time in the past 35 years-it’s so hard-the anger is one of the hardest parts for me. Besides the flashbacks and sensory memories, and dreams. I know it will eventually get better, just wish it was as easy to fix the damage as it was to cause it! {{{Hugs}}}

      Yes! Thank you for bringing this up. I've had a counselor recently who said trauma is trauma. You don't look at a bruise and question the type or severity. It's real and valid.
