I suspect I have HEDS but not confirmed. I’m hyper mobile almost everywhere but in some places have very odd “double joints”/hyperextending abilities. I get injured fairly easily but like my dysautonomia (which is diagnosed), it gets worse as I get older. Two weeks ago I popped my toe to crack it and somehow it was too strong and I tore a ligament or something. Doctor put me in a hard shoe to help it heal bc walking on it makes it worse/makes me re-injury it. He said it’ll prob heal in 2-3 weeks on its own. Is this possibly due to HEDS or does anyone else have ideas for why I tweak things so easily? I’m also autistic.

On the Ehlers Danlos website (has a zebra), they have a checklist you can go through to see if you likely have hEDS. I went through this and it helped me get a diagnosis for hEDS. Looking through all 13 EDS's may help as well.
