@y001 I do think doctors may be able to helo get the right medication

The only thing that works for me is medication. Even if I stop them with techniques. Hours later they end up happening. Talk to your doctor about them.

Have you tried to listen to music or journal?

Hey Cat, I try to close my eyes, get under a blanket and try to list things I see, feel and hear. I'll try a sound machine or some music as well to escape. Sometimes, cry like a baby and that's okay too. šŸ’• I'm sorry you're going through it. I deal with them myself. Do you have any meds to take when you experience one?

Some people manage long-lasting panic attacks by taking medication, setting realistic goals for themselves, and taking baby steps to avoid overwhelming themselves. Others find relief through comfort objects like a blanket, listening to 528 Hz frequencies, or using a device like Calm-i-go. Some also suggest trying not to fight the panic attack but instead ride it out. Distractions such as guided meditation, exercise, drinking water, using weighted blankets, and listening to music can also be helpful. The 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 method, which involves focusing on different senses, is another strategy some people use.
