@clova I was supposed to see him today and his secretary called me to say it was going to be a phone call this time. So I just skipped the whole thing. If he's not going to listen to me in person and change our second ever appointment to a phone call then he's never going to listen imo.
I’m still recovering from Covid over 1+ years and I was telling a doctor that. They told me to try more allergy medicine for my stuffy nose and that there was no real hope for taking back my full smell. I hope we both find a doctor who listens and cares!

I've had plenty of doctors not listen to me. I have two autoimmune diseases (one of them being rare), fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis all at 23 years old so I feel like the queen of having doctors not listen to me. I just left the ER the other day because they wouldn't listen to me when I was having an arthritis flare up and vomiting. I was in so much pain, but they said to just follow up with my specialists and primary care. I called the rheumatologist office and the rheumatologist told me that if I took "better care" of myself that I wouldn't be in ER. When I was 15 I had horrible chronic pain, the ER said they couldn't help me and I was in and out within 40 minutes. 6 months later, I nearly died from a rare autoimmune disease. So I feel your pain. All you can do is advocate for yourself and try to have others advocate for you as well if possible. If that doesn't work, it's time for a new doctor.
