Thankyou for your reply. You are right No therapists can't. I am being referred to a psychiatrist and psychologist too. My psychiatrist 3 years ago said about asd and adhd he referred me for the assessment.. I have heard the wait can be upto 5years. I'm just getting frustrated with the waiting and the not knowing I guess. I feel once I know I can get the right support. With The therapist I would like to do trauma work as have experienced a lot of trauma through my life so far. Xx

Therapist may not be able to diagnose things especially ASD. If you are an adult it will be difficult to get the diagnosis because a lot of professionals won't diagnose an adult.
