Official OCD Diagnosis and Possible ADHD/Autism

just got officially diagnosed with ocd. and my therapist thinks i may have been misdiagnosed with bpd - to truly have adhd and autism underneath. ooooh boy im excited because i’ve suspected adhd/autism for a long time (almost 8-9 years) but nervous. so many people have told me i’m wrong that i don’t have those conditions, so for my own therapist to see it and agree with me is really heavy. i could have those diagnoses in like less than a month. im so shocked

I've considered this to be a possibility for me. I was diagnosed with ADD as a kid, and I experience extreme sensitivities to things like sounds, textures, and tastes. I've had lots of emotional outbursts when things don't go "my way". I don't know but I am in the same boat. I'm AFAB btw

That’s wonderful you therapist made the discovery and that you both could connect and start working to feel good. I have been diagnosed with ADD and ocd and have wondered in I am on the spectrum. Spoke to my mom as I have been seeing therapist for school and what not and just in general for years since I was little she said I was never found on the spectrum .

the education for afabs in autism is still super new and not as commonly known. if you feel you could be on it don’t let go of the idea.

Omg That Was Identical To How I Found Out I Had From My Therapist A Diagnosis Of OCD Then Her Realizin I Was Misdiagnosed With Somethin Else But Really Had ADHD And Autism Even Though Literally No One Else Agreed With Me Or Her
