Finding reasonable things to change, nothing too crazy, some things you think you can stick to. For example, signing up to a dance lesson (if you like dancing…) near your house instead of a gym that you have to take a bus to.

I have started using apps to help me remember things and make healthier choices.

If I'm being completely honest, my husband has done a lot to keep me on track. But aside from having a live-in nagger, try to make the healthy choice the easiest choice. I just microwaved some edamame for a snack because I know that we don't have chips. Exercise is either gamified or communal so I get excited about it. I will meal prep for myself for lunches and freeze individual servings so all I have to do is heat it up, but it also requires me to put in extra effort to eat more than one serving. I just reinstalled the app blocker I had on my old phone, so I don't get distracted by reading or games when I need to be getting to bed. It's not perfect. Obviously I can go out and get junk food or turn off the app blocker. But it makes it where I have to make a conscious decision to deviate from the routine, so when I'm all out of executive function I don't self-sabotage.
