Struggling to Let Go of Things: Need Advice

I’m kind of ashamed to admit this, but I have a severe issue with letting things go. I’m talking trash ( like a ticket stub from a movie date) , things from when I was a kid, and especially especially books. Does this have to do with my anxiety and adjustment disorder? Anyone have any tips? I always get so overwhelmed that things end up in panic attacks and tears. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I thought you guys might be able to help.

I think maybe you could so some research into it and ask mental health experts about what to do. Sometimes if you write things down it might help you feel better about it too!

I also have this problem, I attach to inanimate objects and form bonds with them, but I like to donate those things so that I know someone else that needs them more will get to have them☺️
