For anyone with hoarding issues, what do you hoarding? This is NOT the same as "what do you collect" !!!

Scraps of fabric, cardboard, paper, any containers or crafting stuff bc I obsessively tell myself "i might use it or need it one day" my partner is always exhausted by the clutter but I don't know how to help him and also myself:(

Animals. Our (my & the animals’) living conditions are being monitored to ensure their safety. I love them very much. I buy 160 lbs of dry and 200 cans of wet food each month. I make $700 per month. I have $80,000 in debt.

How many pets do you have? What is the thought that leads you to adopting pets?

I'm not sure if it counts but stuffed animals. I have way too many but just can't get rid of them. They mean too much to me and I get extreme anxiety if anyone suggests getting rid of some of them

It causes me anxiety every time I throw something away. Its good when I'm in public because I'm forced to do it. At home I will put it off. I'm 32 and moved in with my Mom two years ago. She helps a lot with throwing away things, it used to be a full time job after my full time job to keep up with slowly throwing away garbage. Mine is mostly food packaging, and fast food bags and wrappers.

Sentimental things that mean nothing to me anymore. I still have a drawing that the person who gave me trauma's daughter gave me nearly 5 years ago. The mom is dead now and I feel bad throwing it out, even though I don't know her daughter.

I also hoard things in my phone, like I still have the phone number of my ex-best friend who gave me trauma for 2 years.

I used to hoard packages of food (bottle caps and wrappers and things like that), broken appliances and technology, beanie babies, tiny silverware
