Struggling with Decluttering and Impulse Buying

Are you by chance on medication? Because I once told a doctor tell me that certain depression /anxiety meds can cause lower impulse control. Which I have experienced personally while taking Effexor ER 37.5 mg. It took several years for that "symptom" to surface. But yes, I have noticed I have lower impulse control when it comes to buying.

My grandma has always nagged me to never throw away things. I think it’s because she used to be impoverished and had to cherish every single thing. Now her room is stacked. I try not to be like her, but I do find it hard to just throw away stuff. I haven’t done much to solve my problem of clutter but I know thrifting is really popular.
