I have learned to be gentle with myself. I listen to my body and do whatever it says it needs. Sometimes that means going for a walk to get fresh air. Sometimes that means talking to my friends. Sometimes thats staying in bed in my pajamas all day. Sometimes that's eating junk food and watching garbage TV. Every day does not have to be your best day. Take each day one at a time. Taking time to rest and recharge is essential.
I just go through the motions shay. Deep in my unconscious I know my mood will be happy someday. My emotions are all over the place so I just hold out. One thing important to remember is depression is an illness and not who you are.
