I feel some sort of episode coming on. I don't know if it will be a manic episode or psychotic or what I just feel like something is about to happen. I don't know what to do other than tell the people around to so they can keep an eye on me.

Just the fact that you're feeling something coming is good for you. You're doing just what you need to by looking to your trusted people for support. Your forethought is a sign that you are becoming more aware of the ebb and flow of your disorder. As time goes by, you will be able to proactively prepare for spikes and dips and even possibly take steps to prevent them, or at least limit their severity. I had to rely on the people around me to let me know when I was acting speedy, irritable, or down earlier on in dealing with my bipolar disorder. Over time, I've become more mindful and self-aware, and that's allowed me to apply coping skills, preparations, and strategies when I feel things "coming on." I just want you to know that this self awareness your having right now is a good thing. This is progress towards more control over your highs and lows. I also encourage you to check out this wonderful tool called the WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan). There's literally an app for that. It can help you to identify your triggers, coping skills, and signs of mood instability. I hope all goes well for you, and if you'd ever like to talk, feel free to DM me anytime.šŸ˜

@klazikel thank you, I'll have to download it, I've already told one of my friends that I'll go to inpatient if it gets too bad, I've been lucky I've never had to as it was much more manageable when I was younger it seems like it's gotten worse over the years. I'm going to cut back on my substance use to see if that will help
