@Stormshield My hormonal cycles definitely had an effect on my mood swings too. I had to stop my cycles with my doctor using consistent hormones (birth control without the sugar pills) because not only were they dangerously heavy and painful but I developed a lot of suicidal ideation with my hormone changes. Tini, it sounds like you're doing a good job of trying to monitor your symptoms. I try to notice symptoms before a full blown episode too and then I both contact my mental health team and make sure I'm keeping my sleep and food intake consistent, using coping skills, getting meds tweaked if necessary, etc. Doing these things helps me minimize or prevent full blown episodes.

"Anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and overstimulation can all cause irritability and fast to anger. Anger always has a reason even if you are unsure. Also, some people have mentioned that they experience increased irritability and anger as an indication of a depressive episode or during manic episodes."
