Mindfulness and being aware of how I feel when I’m struggling helps me stop, take some time to regroup and redirect my thoughts. My family knows if they’re talking with me about something that I’m overly upset about, they need to wait until I calm down and I’ll be able to talk with them later. Otherwise I’m an explosive firecracker likely to say any and every hurtful thing that comes to my mind as my way of coping. Hang in there. There’s so many people, me included, that deal with this so you are not alone. 😉

It sounds cliché but in arguments I used to either shut completely down or just spew shut from my mouth but really overthinking before saying or doing something has helped. I have also found someone that understands and is willing to be patient and wanting to help me get better
I have it too! Really for me it just made sense looking back at my life. As far as the guidance, I really just have the advice of not letting it define you!
