I have good days and bad days. I establish rules that help to ensure my daily safety, which helps to reduce my stress. For example: lack of sleep is a major trigger for me personally so, if I haven’t gotten quality sleep (solid 7-8hrs) then I don’t let myself drive. I shower while my husband is home and if I forget to take my medication, I don’t let myself go anywhere alone.

I take Lexapro and it can be a double edged sword. It helps with anxiety but can cause a disruption in sleep. My anxiety over having a seizure was never terrible but if you are having anxiety specific to you epilepsy I would definitely discuss it with your Neurologist.
@Blueboy77 I will be, just wasn't sure if someone else had a similar experience.
I am lucky and my seizures are well controlled. I manage my anxiety about them by being consistent with my meds, getting enough sleep and listening to my body. Hope this helps.
@Blueboy77 I was controlled for a long time but recently had a few episodes. This happened after no change in lifestyle. Do you take meds for anxiety at all?
