Living with Epilepsy: The Struggle for Normalcy

Epilepsy is something recent that has begun to affect my everyday life, even if I haven't had a recent seizure. I have a scar and lost some use of one of my hands after a seizure. Combined with constant memory problems and no aura warning me of a seizure, everyday is full of stress. I don't know if my life will ever be normal.

I don't want to sound like a downer but most likely, it won't be the same. Stress induces seizures so my advice is to try and not worry about it. Take your meds on time, don't push yourself too hard

Sounds like when I had my grand mal seizure, there was no warning. I was behind the wheel of my vehicle, lucky I was stopped at a red light. I remember that part, next thing I remember was waking up in an ambulance feeling like people were holering at me.
