Has anyone been through something similar? Any advice welcome. I've been informed to start a food dairy prior to seeing a dietitian. I see an osteo regularly due to my muscles refusing to relax and due to my high pain tolerance, I don't notice pain or issues until quite bad. Background: I have Endometriosis diagnosed in Jan 2020. My left ovary moved and became stuck to a section where Endometriosis was removed. Horrid pain. Nobody would take new scans. Covid hit. Told to suck it up. Pain lessened but flare ups. Flare up end of last year. Tests and Scans. Gyno retired and never put that he found Endometriosis during surgery 2020. Have been on Depo Provera Injection for 7 years old. Moved during lockdown for safety. New doc. Tried Rod in arm, and Pill - both not suitable for me. Went back on Depo. Pain started again. New scans. Told "having surgery in a month". Second surgery in March 2023. Fixed ovary - Found NO Endometriosis but scarring from previous removal. Changed from Depo to Mirina (I disapproved but got sick of Gyno nagging me). In horrible pain. Got that sorted with Palexia. Went 6 days no pain killers and minimal pain. Worse pain appeared - false Labour like contractions (No, was not pregnant and it was horrible) for 3 days. Doc and Gyno stumped - thought I was faking in beginning. Got better but remained bloated for another 12 weeks. Started Hydro. I had finally lost some weight, 3kg, had no bloating and bareable on - off pain. For the past week, it doesn't matter what I eat, I bloat, feel constipation (though I have regular good BM) and get abdominal pain and noises. I woke in pain last week at 2am, experiencing high pain, bloating and the constipation feeling. Walked around and was able to settle the pain but not the bloating. I have been informed to start a food diary, which is in the works. I have gastritis so cannot eat certain foods that are high in histamines (banana, chocolate, coffee, alcohol, Pineapple, tomato, etc). Having these items make me nauseous but normally I don't bloat. But currently, a plain salad, fruit (grapes, pear), toast, pizza, lamb shank, etc, I bloat to the point where I've arrived to work with a small stomach then after lunch, look like I'm about 7 months pregnant- and yes, I'm freaking my clients out. I recently got my wisdom teeth removed in June 2023 so I did go through a period where I was just having a liquid diet. I did then get a stomach bug two weeks later and threw up guts up, and brought up a small amount of blood. I cannot figure out what food is upsetting me. I will do a food dairy but does anyone have any experience with this or similar and tips on what to do to get by? And yes, I am going to book an appointment with the doc again.

One person shared their experience with chronic abdominal pain and bloating, stating that they found relief by tracking foods which cause inflammation for them, such as gluten, dairy, and caffeine. They also mentioned trying an anti-inflammatory diet, focusing on foods rich in omega-3 and most fruits and vegetables, which are very anti-inflammatory. Another person suggested going gluten-free, as it significantly reduced their severe lower abdominal pain after eating certain foods. However, these are personal experiences and may not apply to everyone. It's always best to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
