My mom had it. My periods got so bad I was almost passing out without meds and got pain flares where I had to tense up and stop moving. Going on birth control helped some but I wanted to know if I truly had endo so I got an ultrasound and a MRI. Found vaginal septation and 2 cervix's. Had surgery were some small dots of endo was found, removed my appendix and the vaginal septation. Recovery took a bit. But my periods have gotten so much better. I don't have to take any pain meds if I don't want to. Had to do pelvic floor physical therapy to be able to have anything enter my vagina and I still have trouble having sex but its all gotten so much better.

I had Surgery 3 years ago is when I found out finally I had endometriosis, worse periods ever! I actually passed out one time from losing to much blood while I was on my 51 day cycle and doctors told me it’s normal when it wasn’t.
