Has anyone ever had extreme bloating or “endo belly” last months? My symptoms began about 4 months ago when I woke up one morning and my stomach was extremely bloated and hard. Since then I had the laparoscopic surgery (2 months ago) to be diagnosed with endometriosis and remove a small spot on my uterus but I have not gotten any relief from my symptoms. I’m 23 and I constantly look pregnant now and am in pain because of all the pressure. Tight clothes makes it swell even more and all of my clothes are tight now. Wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if they ever got relief even with excision surgery (which is my next move)?

One user mentioned that they have experienced endo belly for 5 months and found it very painful. They were waiting for surgery and seeking ways to reduce bloating in the meantime. Another user suggested trying apple cider vinegar, reducing gluten intake, and using fluid tablets or supplements to help with bloating. However, individual experiences may vary, and it is essential to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

I would constantly go between mild bloating and heavy bloating. My work uniform would hide it well, but if I ever went into the office in casual clothes and I was on a heavy bloat day, I would get the side looks. I have found that with regular walking and healthy eating (I bloat more with fatty oily foods), my bloating has gone down. Due to my medications for my endometriosis, I have gained some weight, but mainly only at my stomach and I now look pregnant as soon as I mild bloat now. So keeping up the constant walking, Hydro and somewhat healthy eating is helping

Have you spoken to your specialist? Bloating from surgery usually does take some time to go down, but reach out to your specialist

@Soph994 it’s not from my surgery but I was hoping it would go away after the surgery but I guess he didn’t do anything while he was in there just took pictures of all the endo I learned at my most recent doctors appointment :/
