People with EDS, does it get better? Do you know anything to help ease the pain? Does moving more really help or is that a myth? My boyfriend is diagnosed with EDS and is worriedly awaiting his first appointment with an EDS specialist rather than a rheumatologist because nothing seems to ease his pain, not valium, not tylenol, advil, hydromorphone, gabapentin, they all barely make a dent anymore.

It's not really something that will improve necessarily. Our joints and connective tissue will always be too stretchy. I was in PT for almost two years learning how to exercise without hurting myself and also how to move in pain. I also have to wear knee braces, they are called unloading braces, and they were game changers! So in my experience, it dose not "get better" but you can absolutely improve quality of life ❤️
