Does anyone else have very specific food triggers that they've found through trial and error? My most intense migraine triggers are Pineapple and Canola Oil (AKA Rapeseed Oil). My doctors have confirmed with me that my method for figuring this out makes sense and that food triggers for migraines are documented in other patients and studies, however I haven't been able to find much information about how food triggers for migraines work or how common they are. I do know of one other person who who similarly has PCOS, Endometriosis, and Migraines who also has migraines triggered by pineapples, and so I was wondering if anyone on here does as well as us?

My triggers are artificial colors, Taco Bell, and the combo of craving and eating ice cream. Also, my dad gets migraines from canned pie filling. And my grandma gets migraines from gluten and chocolate.

@princess911 have you tried nitrate free pepperoni and hot dogs? (Also bacon) that might be what’s triggering you

my great grandmother who had severe migraines would be triggered by chocolate, but for me personally, i can’t find a food that triggers it and it’s been over 2 years ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Princess911 that's interesting! Do you notice other forms of red meat or sausages or anything triggering migraines for you as well?

I've read that dairy probucts are one of the most common food triggers of migraines.
