I feel an overwhelming sense of dread most days. How do you guys deal with catastrophizing?

Sometimes it's like a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you keep telling yourself something bad is gonna happen, you'll only anticipate the bad stuff, causing you to only see what's wrong around you. It's good to try and take in the good things too. One thing I used to do is at the end of every day, I would write down 3 - 5 things that went well that day. Even if it was something small like "I did well on a homework assignment" or "the weather was perfect today". By doing so, you're allowing yourself to see the good in things. Not every day is sunshine and rainbows, but it doesn't have to be to live a happy life. We have to learn to appreciate the good things and work with the bad things
