Trazadone like small dose 25mg if I can't control it myself. I had an amazing therapist who taught me breathing techniques and tapping. Tapping and breathing help so I rarely need meds. It's work though.

I have to step away from the situation and find my own place to focus

I'm finding I need to first to refocus the energy. So I do something else. I'm very sedentary so I usually now have to get up and get busy.

Some ways to deal with anxiety include taking a hot bath, drinking tea, focusing on breathing, spending time alone to recover from social stress, keeping the mind occupied, meditating, using ice packs on the vagus nerve, staying present and focusing on what can be controlled, taking medications, going to therapy, watching funny videos, reminding oneself of safety and love, creating a routine of self-care, talking to someone in a judgement-free zone, and even biting into a lemon.
