Grounding techniques like meditation, the 5 4 3 2 1 method, or even a grounding object can help bring you out of being triggered. Finding safe spaces and objects which remind us that were safe are important ! :) I would recommend googling these to familiarise yourself or feel free to msg me with questions 💕

I tend to have constant flash backs, little things will throw me into them, smells, sounds, even some trigger words will. C-PTSD is hard to live with but you are a fighter! I cope by knowing I'm stronger than the person who did me harm. I survive by knowing what they did to me made me into the gentle nurturing mother/lover/ person I am. I hold a lot of guilt and anger towards myself for the things they did to me and my baby, I grieve for what life would have been, or could have been if I would have never met them. But everything happens for a reason and I think the reason was to make us stronger, to make us hold each other closer.
