Ok so question. I have had pain (or more like deep pressure) on the dorsal top side of the wrist. Not the palmar side. It’s almost dead center in the wrist and it’s deep. It’s more of a achy pressure. I try to relieve it and one way it sort of helps is adding more pressure. For example I might be in bed on my side and bend my wrist inward, palm side up with pressure on the wrist at a 90 degree angle from the bed.
Other times I will take my nuckle of my middle finger and massage it or burrow it into the wrist for relief. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a ganglion cyst? I don’t know. There are times I think there is a knot there that could be a ganglion then sometimes not.
It’s so weird I know 😂 but it’s almost like you want to have regular pressure on this top part of your wrist all the time to offset the pressure that you feel that is already there. Weird shit like at home and my dull corner coffee table I will often use as a trigger point for this one spot that lies deep in my wrist.
Again top side of the wrist? I tried pushing hard enough to see if it a ganglion or a cyst that might burst and that didn’t do it.
I don’t know if it’s a nerve thing? Or a cyst? Or a bone thing? It just aches all the time to like I wish I had a vice grip that I could just keep constant pressure on it as a trigger point.
It’s not carpal tunnel as that’s on the palmar side of the wrist. Not top side.
There is almost this nerve feeling that you want to somehow drive some sort of constant pressure mechanism onto the top of the wrist… any idea what this could be? Middle of the top part of the right wrist ???
