Hey fellow pain peeps šš» So, Iāve had pain my my wrists, thumbs, and where my hands, wrists and thumbs connect for a while (as in, about a year at this point). Iāve been with diagnosed de Quervainās tenosynovitis in my left and right wrists, and Iāve had surgery in my left hand for this. Iāve still had pain in the same areas since surgery, which Iāve been told is normal at this point. (Itās only been a bit over 3 weeks since surgery.) I also saw a rheumatologist and almost all of my lab work came back normal, with the exception of showing inflammation and the diabetes-related results. (I was diagnosed with diabetes in mid to late October, but I donāt know what type.) However, Iāve also started having throbbing/aching pain & stiffness in other parts of my left hand since a couple weeks before surgery. In the last few days, itās started hurting even more in my pointer finger. Does anyone have any thoughts, questions, suggestions of specific types of medical professionals to seek out, or really just anything else that you think may be helpful?
