How to Communicate Your Needs to Your Partner

My thing is I don't know. I am just finding all this out and having hard time with it

I would say tell them! Simply tell them exactly what they need to do. My husband and I have talks about things all the time and we are pretty open with each other so when I need something done a certain way to help I tell him and he does it. It’s easier that way to be honest.

Hi ! I would find websites or maybe posts online that talk about your specific struggles and send them to your partner so they can understand not only what you are struggling with but you as a person better. Then after they read it, ask if they have any questions for you and talk about it. It helped me a lot. But remind them, this is not so they can “fix you” because you are not broken. You are sending them because you want them to be able to know you better.
