How do I fix my brain fog? I've tried medication for anxiety and depression and they've so far just made all my symptoms, including brain fog, worse. It is getting worse and it's starting to feel useless. I feel like I have irreparable brain damage from being mentally ill for so long. My memory and focus are so horrible and I can't keep track of time. I keep thinking it's a different day, or time of day, or that something that happened weeks ago happened just yesterday, or that something I dreamed or read about actually happened. I'm scared that I've ruined my brain. I wanted to go to college and didn't because I wasn't planning on living that long and now I think it's impossible for me to ever go. I can't even keep a job.

šŸ«‚ I'm so sorry. I have brain fog due to a chronic neuroimmune disease, and it's really hard. The doctor who is treating me mentioned speech therapy to improve memory issues, along with being evaluated for ADHD meds (not that I have ADHD, but the meds may help). I plan on talking with her more about that soon. Maybe you can also talk to your psych about it?
