It's a main part of your nervous system and often involves stimulating alot of the depressive and anxious thoughts. And when it's stimulated with cold substances, it slows down and can help with those feelings. All that medical mumbo jumbo is to say, by holding an ice cube to your neck or by putting your face into ice water for a couple of seconds, it can help with those feelings
