When I started getting bad panic attacks I would always pinch myself just to make sure I could still feel all my limbs, I still do sometimes. The only thing I can really recommend is practice some different ways to keep yourself grounded. Some things to try could be looking around and naming the things you recognize in the room, counting in your head, or huming a certain song. These all may sound silly or dumb at first, but they can actually help. They won't totally solve anxiety but they can sure help keep you calm during an episode
