Overcoming Trauma from a Covert Narcissist: How Long Does it Take?

I’m not an expert…but I’m under the impression that exposure to that kind of trauma, for that amount of time, may take a lifetime to overcome. From personal experience…my childhood trauma is different than my trauma caused by my Narcissist and they are both triggered by different situations and circumstances. (Meds and therapy can only help so much but they DO help).
