Yes I do. I was with and married to him for 6 years. We have two children so I get the abuse from a more distant standpoint. It's still there though. Wish I could get away from it😥

I'm so sorry. I think I can understand. I deal with Fibromyalgia and PTSD, which is a direct result from the stress of narcissistic abuse.

Yes! Still have to deal with them as well since we had a kid together. Although hoping we can get his rights taken away soon. It effects my health each day. We’ve been divorced 4 years now but still have flashbacks that make it feel like yesterday. We were together 5 years, 3 of those married and met in high school.

Yes from both my parents and an ex-fiancé. Parents was obviously long-term. Ex-fiancé was about a year.

Not a spouse but the people I used to live with. I'm reluctant to even say they raised me - my sib and I pretty much raised ourselves.

My situation is a little messy.. I was beat for about 8 hours by my roommate, which resulted in alot of diagnoses I received 11 years later.. in the mean time I proceeded to have a child with a narcissistic addict. Kind of a double whammy. It's hard to say who's responsible for what but I know I constantly triggered by my child's father, from previous abuse, physical but then had to deal with the mental, emotional and verbal for 12 years. Things are better now, her father terminated his rights, he let the control go..idk why... I don't care. I just go day by day and will probky never be in another relationship again. I've been single since I left her dad in 2010

same here I married someone almost identical to my dad. I broke free from my toxic marriage in 2019 and it was the best thing I have ever done!

😥 I'm so sorry. Are you still with the abuser. I just got free in August 2021 from my husband of 16 years. I tried and tried for years, hoping things would change, but they NEVER did and he has no plans on changing, even now. I did what was best for my two daughters and I. Even now, he still terrorizes from afar, but I and the girls are still better off.
